Men’s European Championships Road Race 2019

I covered the women’s race yesterday and today was the turn of the men. They did the same 11 laps of a 11km loop but also a 46km first long loop. I hung around the start/finish straight more today but on the other side from yesterday. Managed to see Viviani take the win ahead of Lampaert. Here’s some photos.

Obviously the biggest prize goes to the winner of the yellow jersey in Paris but each of the intermediate sprints and KoM points contribute to a team’s winnings. Dan Craven – Pro Cycling’s Super Tourist

Cycling’s greatest tourist is the evergreen Dan Craven. At the moment he’s raced in 45 countries in a career that’s lasted almost 15 years. Crisscrossing the globe, he’s raced in plenty of the obvious European cycling countries and more…
