Équipe Paule Ka set for Strade Bianche

In the first WorldTour race since the season recommenced, the peloton will take on a 136km-long course along the famed white gravel roads of Italy’s Tuscan countryside, before racing to the finish line at the Piazza del Campo in Siena. The route is nearly identical to last year’s edition, and features eight gravel sectors, which equates to roughly 23 per cent of the entire parcours. In addition to these challenging gravel sections, the terrain also consists of short and very steep climbs with gradients of up to 18 per cent. As the race enters the final kilometres, the peloton will still have to conquer a climb with a gradient of 16 per cent, before taking on a descent and flat run-in to the finish line in the centre of Siena. With scorching temperatures expected, in addition to this demanding course, it will be a tough day in the saddle.

The team will be represented by:
