Julie Leth joins WNT-ROTOR for 2020

The Danish track star who recently won the European Madison title in Apeldoorn joins our team for 2020. The 27 year old from Aarhus will bolster our squad with her eyes set on the spring classics.

Leth, a former Danish Road and time trial champion, has pedigree racing at the highest level on the road along with her successful career as one of the most coveted track riders from Denmark.

Leth, a former team mate of many of our current WNT-ROTOR riders will be looking to become a vital part of the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our lead out train.

“I’m looking forward to riding together with a lot of the girls, it’s really exciting to come together again and hopefully we will win some races together.” said Julie.

With the Tokyo 2020 Olympics next year the main aim for will be the track in Tokyo and a strong classics campaign. The now two time European Madison champion and world bronze medallist will be all in for an assault on the Madison next summer.

“It is fantastic to be joining a professional environment and a place where I can evolve as a rider. The team see potential in me, so I can’t wait to fit in with the team and start the year strong at the spring classics and track world championships. The support from the team to ride the track is amazing, not just for me but for a lot of the team. I’m really looking forward to the year ahead!”

Leth is a fantastic addition to a growing and experienced team. Stay tuned for our more rider announcements.
