Men’s European Championships Road Race 2019

I covered the women’s race yesterday and today was the turn of the men. They did the same 11 laps of a 11km loop but also a 46km first long loop. I hung around the start/finish straight more today but on the other side from yesterday. Managed to see Viviani take the win ahead of Lampaert. Here’s some photos.

Gent Wevelgem 2019 Photos

After spending Friday watching the E3 BinckBank Classic and Saturday riding the Gent-Wevelgem Cyclo, today (Sunday) was spent on the Kemmelberg watching the men and women race Gent-Wevelgem. The men made once ascent from the easier but still steep and cobbled Belvedere side – named after the hotel on that side of the hill – before doing a loop which saw them approach from the...

Dwars Door Vlaanderen 2018 Preview – Tips, Contenders, Profile

We didn’t go to the start this time round, but instead took up station on the Kemmelberg. The Kemmelberg is known as a fearsome hill to cycle up – the pros took...

Driedaagse De Panne 2018 Preview – Tips, Contenders, Profile

Dreidaagse De Panne (3 Days of De Panne) has changed format for 2018. The name stays the same but the race no longer last 3 days. The men’s race is now transformed into a 1 day event, with a women’s 1 day race too. There was supposed to be a further criterium event to round it back up to 3 days, but for 2018 this...

Australia Men's Team Pursuit World Track Championships 2016 London

World Track Championships – London 2016

Being a great son I recently bought my mum tickets to the World Track Championships which finally came about last week. We went to the opening first session of the championships which encompassed the Women’s Individual Pursuit, Men’s Team Sprint, Women’s Team Sprint and Men’s Team Pursuit and a chance to see names such as Bradley Wiggins, Elia Viviani, Gregory Bauge, Philip Hindes, Jason Kenny,...
